I help organisations turn funding into operational delivery, recover programmes that are off track, and lead complex change in demanding environments.

Overview

I work with organisations navigating complex change, supporting senior leaders to recover, stabilise, and deliver programmes.I am typically brought in when programmes are stuck, underperforming, or no longer fit for purpose — where experienced leadership is needed to reset direction, restore momentum,and move from planning into operational delivery.My approach is grounded in practical execution rather than abstract consultancy. I focus on relationships, systems, and delivery mechanics to ensure change is not only well designed, but successfully implemented in practice.

What I Do

Program Mobilisation

When funding has been secured but delivery is not yet operational.Supporting organisations to convert newly awarded funding into fully operational, delivery-ready programmes. I help establish delivery structures, governance, reporting systems, and operational plans so programmes can begin safely, quickly, and with clarity.


Programme Recovery & Stabilisation

When delivery is under pressure, unclear, or at risk.Supporting organisations where delivery is under pressure, unstable, or not performing as expected. This includes restoring clarity, stabilising operations, rebuilding delivery systems, and supporting leadership through periods of change or uncertainty.


Commissioning, Procurement & Transition Support

When programmes are changing, ending, or being re-commissioned.Supporting organisations through complex commissioning, procurement, contract change, or service transition processes. This includes managing handovers, exits, supplier changes, and re-commissioning processes where continuity and control are critical.


How I Work

I work as an integrated member of programme and leadership teams, contributing directly to delivery and decision-making. I operate inside delivery environments rather than as an external adviser, working directly with accountable leaders and teams to support implementation and decision-making.

Engagements are typically focused, time-bound, and structured around clear outcomes, with flexibility depending on programme phase and urgency.

Experience

I have over 15 years’ experience supporting organisations through complex change, transition, and restructuring, typically in high-pressure, high-stakes environments where funding, delivery, and reputation are at risk.I have worked across third sector, public health, social care, digital services, and regulatory environments, supporting organisations through programme recovery, commissioning change, and organisational redesign.

  • Led the wind-down and transition of a £7m national addiction support contract following termination, including commissioner negotiations, TUPE and redundancy processes, and continuity of critical services

  • Managed a national procurement for a US-based regulator, delivering governance design and provider selection within a 5-week timeframe

  • Led organisational change within a £10m national youth programme, including rapid scaling, partner management, and COVID-era service redesign

  • Supported commissioning change and recovery across health, gambling harm, and social care programmes ranging from £3m–£10m in value

  • Advised senior leaders in charity and public-interest organisations during periods of organisational uncertainty and transition

Availability

I take on a small number of engagements each year to ensure depth of focus and continuity of delivery support.
